If you’ve ever lined up for hours just to catch a bus to Baguio, here’s some good news. A ₱1.2-billion integrated terminal will soon rise in the City of Pines to make travel smoother and less stressful for thousands of passengers every day.
Megawide Construction Corp. confirmed that it will build the Baguio City Integrated Terminal (BCIT) after getting the go signal from the city government. Once finished, the terminal can serve 25,000 passengers daily and connect seven major routes: La Union, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, and Cavite.
The project will operate under a 40-year lease deal with the Baguio City government. It aims to create a central hub that’s clean, organised, and easier to navigate for commuters.
Megawide chairman Edgar Saavedra said the project is part of their shared goal with local governments to make transport systems more modern and accessible.

BCIT will join Megawide’s growing list of transport projects, which already include the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), the upcoming South Luzon Integrated Terminal Exchange (SLITX) in Cavite, and the Cavite Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.
According to Megawide’s business development head Jaime Feliciano, these new terminals aim to make public transport safer and more efficient. When all of them are fully running, they’re expected to bring in around ₱300 to ₱400 million in yearly income.
Known for building the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Clark International Airport, and PITX, Megawide is now bringing its transport expertise up north through the ₱1.2-billion Baguio City Integrated Terminal. Once completed, this new hub will offer smoother bus connections between Baguio, Metro Manila, and key Luzon provinces. It’s a major step toward modernising public transport in the Philippines and making travel to Baguio faster, safer, and more convenient for every Filipino traveller.
