The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is spreading its wings with the launch of its very own airline, . Get ready for smoother travel within BARMM! The new airline takes to the skies for the first time on 24 Apr 2024, with a maiden flight connecting Zamboanga City to Sulu.

While passenger capacity is limited (six to ten people including pilots), it prioritises those who need it most. The airline focuses on transporting government officials, essential medical supplies, and investors currently facing challenges. The goal is to reduce long travel times and limited routes within the region.

BARMM covers a vast area encompassing several islands, including Mindanao del Sur, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi. Previously, direct air travel options were scarce. The new airline aims to bridge this gap by offering convenient connections between these island communities.

In the works for this airline

The initial service will connect Cotabato, Zamboanga, and Jolo with three flights weekly. But that’s just the beginning! has ambitious expansion plans in the works. Within the first year, they aim to launch routes from Zamboanga to Mapun and Basilan, and from Cotabato to General Santos. Long-term goals even include international connections, with a potential route to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
