Doesn’t it feel like you’re made to jump through so many hoops just to get your vehicle registered? Vehicle registration usually takes up so much time. Fortunately, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) finally launched their Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) for online vehicle registration. Let’s take a look at how it can make things easier and faster for motorists!
Convenience through LTMS online vehicle registration
The LTMS online vehicle registration service aims to make transactions with the LTO smoother for motorists anywhere in the Philippines. No longer will you have to queue in long lines and drive to any LTO district offices. As long as you have a stable Internet connection, you can use the service.
Users who would like to register their vehicles must create an account on the LTMS website. All the details required by the LTO from the vehicle should be registered in the account. Don’t worry if you can’t finish registration in a day; the LTO district offices can help finish your registration.
LTO secretary Jose Arturo Tugade also reminds users that a Certificate of Coverage from an insurance coverage of the driver’s choice should also be submitted electronically through the account. In addition, users should include an upload of a report from the Private Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (PMVIC) nearby LTO’s district offices. These documents can be submitted within a month during the registration.
With the LTMS online vehicle registration in place for motorists, updating the LTO with your details should be a breeze. Streamlining processes and making them remotely accessible means that tedious waits for hours are a thing of the past. Try out the service and we’ll see you on the road. Remember to drive safely!
