The MIBF will be open daily from 10am to 8pm, offering visitors an extensive range of books, educational aids, and more. The fair’s layout has expanded this year to accommodate a larger selection of booths, providing an even more immersive experience for attendees. Expect to see over 200 local and international exhibitors showcasing their latest titles and exclusive offers.
Highlights and Exhibitors
On the first floor, you'll find major local bookstores and publishers like Fully Booked and National Book Store, as well as a range of Philippine titles from publishers such as Adarna House, Anvil Publishing, and Vibal Publishing. This floor also features Filipiniana books from esteemed institutions like the National Historical Commission of the Philippines and various university presses. A dedicated food area on this level offers quick bites and seating for a much-needed break from book browsing.
The second floor, while slightly smaller, is equally exciting. It will host booths from local publishers including Summit Media and PSIcom Publishing, and a special focus on komiks and graphic novels with vendors like Komiket and Comic Odyssey. Additionally, this level will feature stationery, arts, and crafts supplies from brands such as Pilot Pens and M&G Stationery.
Activities and Events
Beyond shopping, the MIBF offers a variety of activities. Engage in book signings, attend author talks, and participate in workshops hosted by both established and emerging writers. For those interested in the business side of publishing, there will be opportunities to network and explore various facets of the industry. Educators and education enthusiasts can also look forward to product demonstrations showcasing the latest advancements in educational media.
