New BGC Bus Route Takes You to and From Gil Puyat

Struggling with your daily commute between Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and the Makati Central Business District? Rejoice, commuters! There’s a new BGC Bus route that was launched to simplify your travel woes.

What we know about the new BGC bus route

Beginning 20 May 2024, BGC Bus offers a weekday service (6am to 10am) connecting BGC to the ever-busy LRT-1 Gil Puyat Station. This new route eliminates the need for multiple transfers or long walks, making your commute between these key business districts a breeze.

The well-planned route also includes stops at strategic locations, including the McKinley Exchange Corporate Center and the One Ayala Terminal. This allows you to hop on or off at a stop that best suits your destination.

BGC Bus keeps things budget-friendly with a flat fare of ₱15 (as of December 2023). No need to fumble with cash! The system utilises beep cards for contactless payment. Simply tap your card on the reader located next to the bus driver for a quick and easy transaction.

Don’t have a beep card? No worries! You can still take advantage of this new route. Just head to one of the BGC Bus main terminals located at the intersection of EDSA and McKinley Road in Makati City or at the back of Market! Market! facing C-5. These terminals offer physical QR tickets for purchase. Note: These tickets are only available at the terminals themselves.
