If you’ve ever juggled multiple Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) stickers at toll gates, relief is finally coming. The One RFID, All Tollways project lets you travel across Luzon’s major tollways with just a single tag. No more fumbling at plazas, no more extra wallets. Just smoother, faster drives for every Filipino motorist.
The project was launched at the South Luzon Expressway North Bound in Calamba, Laguna. Drivers could see firsthand how easy registration is with RFID providers Autosweep and Easytrip.
According to the launch, years of work with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Toll Regulatory Board have finally created a system that answers the real needs of motorists. Registration is voluntary and free.
