If you’re dreaming of a beach escape where you can chill by the sea, camp under the stars, and still enjoy some comfort and style, you might want to check out Punta Anchora in Badian, Cebu. It’s tucked away in Lambug Beach and gives off those laid-back, off-the-grid vibes without sacrificing the stuff that makes a beach trip comfy and fun.

Let’s start with the cool part: Punta Anchora is made for car camping. Yep, you can literally drive up to the site, park near the beach, and set up camp right there. Whether you’re the type to bring your own tent, sleep in your car, or try one of their cosy rentals, the space is super flexible.
If you’re not exactly the hardcore camper type (no judgement), they’ve got you covered too. You can rent a tent and mattress, so you don’t need to haul gear all the way from home. Bathrooms? They’ve got six shared ones, which is more than decent for a campsite. Need utensils? Borrow some from the shared kitchen.
And if you’re feeling adventurous, try paddleboarding or kayaking. The water’s usually calm, especially in the morning, and you’ll get the best views of the coast from out there.

Not into tents? Punta Anchora has some surprisingly aesthetic accommodation options. The A-frame cottage is probably the crowd favourite—think Pinterest meets the tropics. It’s got that wood-and-glass charm perfect for your Instagram feed.
If you're coming with friends or just want more space, check out their villas. The Barracuda and Malasugi villas are both stylish and comfy with mid-century modern interiors, marbled tiles, and air conditioning. They’re a major upgrade if you want the beach life without getting too sandy.
Their biggest option is the Pawikan Villa, which can house up to eight people. Perfect for barkada trips or even small family getaways.
