Looking for a unique, close-to-nature getaway that isn’t your usual Tagaytay food trip? Here’s something different—and super fun. Just around 20 minutes from Tagaytay, you’ll find Yoki’s Farm in Mendez, Cavite, a charming spot where you can meet alpacas, capybaras, exotic birds, and more animals you probably didn’t expect to see in the Philippines.
Whether you’re travelling with friends, family, or just exploring solo, Yoki’s Farm offers a refreshing mix of animals, nature, and surprisingly cool experiences.

Yoki’s Farm is an agri-tourism destination that brings together a mini zoo, a hydroponics farm, an orchidarium, and even a museum—all in one peaceful countryside setting. It’s not your typical theme park, but it’s full of unique attractions that make the trip worthwhile. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself curious, relaxed, and constantly saying, “Wow, I didn’t expect that.”

The best part? The Animal Encounter Package. For ₱900 for adults and ₱800 for children, this gives you access to the zoo area where you can interact with several animals up close.
Yes, you can meet real alpacas—fluffy, gentle, and curious enough to pose for photos with you. Then there are the capybaras, often dubbed the world’s chillest animals, which you can even feed. You’ll also spot colourful parrots, gentle tortoises, friendly rabbits, and mini horses—all approachable and housed in open areas that make interacting easy and natural.
The environment is designed to let you walk around freely, take your time, and enjoy the animals without feeling rushed or crowded.

Yoki’s Farm goes beyond being just an animal sanctuary. You can stroll through the orchidarium, where you’ll be surrounded by vibrant blooms and ornamental plants. If you’re into plants or want a breather, it’s a calm little space to enjoy.
The hydroponics greenhouse is also worth checking out, especially if you're curious about how lettuce and herbs grow in water without soil. It’s educational and eye-opening for kids and adults alike.
And then there’s the on-site museum, which is honestly one of the most unexpected parts of the visit. You’ll find antique pieces like vintage typewriters, Buddha statues, rare coins, and even Egyptian-inspired artefacts. It’s a random but fascinating collection that adds a quirky twist to your farm experience.
First time visiting Yoki’s Farm? Here are a few helpful things to keep in mind.
Walk-ins are accepted, but messaging them ahead of time is a good idea—especially on weekends or holidays. Mornings or weekdays are usually less crowded and cooler, which makes exploring more comfortable. Wear casual, breathable clothes and comfy shoes, especially if you plan to walk around for a couple of hours. Sunscreen is also a must.
There’s a small café on-site where you can grab drinks or light snacks, but most visitors pair the trip with a proper lunch stop in Tagaytay after. Parking is available, and the farm is walkable enough that you can take your time and just enjoy the laid-back pace.
