Bantayan Island has long been a favourite tourist destinations in Cebu for travellers chasing white-sand beaches, heritage towns, and fresh seafood. Coined as the “Paradise of the North”, the island houses three municipalities, namely, Sta. Fe, Madridejos, and Bantayan. Sta. Fe is known for its vacation houses, resorts, and white-sand beaches. Madridejos is known for its seafood products while Bantayan boasts of its heritage and culture.
Travelling to Bantayan Island is now easier thanks to improved transport links and a local airport that connects it to Cebu City on select routes.
