The promise of new flavours beckons from Banawe.
Calling the attention of all bookworms (and obsessed book shoppers) in the Philippines! Big Bad Wolf Book Sale 2021 is going online from 30 Jun to 7 Jul 2021.
On 15 Jun 2021, the Big Bad Wolf Books official Facebook page first posted a teaser for its upcoming book sale. A couple of days later, BBW revealed more details about it. Here’s what we know so far.
Also known as the world’s biggest travelling book sale, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale 2021 will be indulging book lovers with over 60,000 titles and discounts of up to 99% off. The book sale will be available nationwide and exclusively online starting 30 Jun. Interested shoppers may now register here to stay updated.
A Malaysia-based book fair, Big Bad Wolf Books first held its book sale event in Kuala Lumpur in 2009. Since then, it’s fascinated bibliophiles with its huge discounts and wide selection of books. By 2018, the book sale finally reached the Philippines — bringing in two million books the first time, with thousands of Pinoys flocking to grab their favourite titles.
The third Big Bad Wolf Book Sale in the Philippines pushed through in Feb 2020, despite the pandemic. As COVID-19 cases rose since then, the founders have decided to hold exclusive online events for the time being. But even when the fair has transitioned online, it’s definitely been coming through.
