Back when I was a kid, my least favourite gifts to receive were the following: picture frames, socks, and — least of all — mugs. A decade later, here I am, adding mug after mug to my virtual cart as if I were shopping for the whole barangay. (I think it goes without saying, but they are in fact all for me, and me alone.) My past self would never believe it!
I’ve gone from collecting regular mugs with cute prints and slogans, to merchandise from trendy brands, to cafe-quality cups and saucers. My current favourites, however, are ceramics by Filipino potters. I’ve had my eyes on Mia Casal’s gorgeous barnacle mug for over a year now — and thanks to Nikkoni Home, I finally got my hands on one of my own.

A few of us from the TripZilla Philippines team actually placed orders ourselves — and we were happy not only with our mugs, but with Nikkoni’s great customer service. We loved that our items were thoughtfully wrapped in eco-friendly honeycomb packaging, too.
