Cheers to a whopping number of 20 holidays and 13 long weekends in the Philippines! Filipinos have all reasons to rejoice this 2015 as well! Feeling the vacation vibe? Plan your getaways now!

Good news for travelers! Philippine Airlines (PAL) is enhancing its connectivity to the paradise-like destination of Busuanga in Northern Palawan. Starting this March, the flag carrier will increase its Clark-Busuanga flights from four times a week to a daily service, addressing the rising demand for leisure travel.

Busuanga serves as the gateway to Coron, a popular resort town known for its stunning beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and dramatic limestone cliffs. The destination is a haven for scuba divers and snorkelers seeking pristine waters and unforgettable underwater experiences.
According to PAL Express President Rabbi Vincent Ang, the upgrade to daily flights will not only make travel more convenient but also help lower fares. This move is expected to boost both domestic and international tourism to Northern Palawan, just in time for the summer travel season.
With the expanded Clark-Busuanga route, PAL will now operate a total of 42 weekly flights to Busuanga. These include:
Three daily flights between Manila and Busuanga.
Two daily flights between Cebu and Busuanga.
PAL’s Clark-Busuanga route uses the 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft, ensuring a comfortable and efficient flight experience for passengers.
This move is part of PAL’s broader strategy to expand its domestic and international network. Earlier this year, the airline introduced a Cebu-Catarman route, adding to its growing list of destinations. Last year, PAL launched its non-stop Manila-Seattle service, making it easier for Filipinos and international travelers to connect seamlessly.
Looking ahead, PAL has announced plans to purchase up to 100 new aircraft in response to rising travel demand. This commitment underscores the airline’s goal to provide more accessible and convenient travel options for its customers.

Start planning your summer getaway to Coron and experience the enhanced convenience of daily flights with Philippine Airlines. Paradise awaits!
