Robinsons Magnolia Now Has a Community Shelter for Stray Cats!

Caring for cats may not be for everyone, but it brings incomparable happiness to some people. While fur parents grow more popular in Metro Manila, the number of stray cats still rises every day. Shelters can no longer sustain these gentle creatures, especially if they aren’t neutered or spayed. However, every shelter counts. Good thing that community cats in Robinsons Magnolia now have a place to call their home where they can recover back to health.

Happy Pets Club (HPC) cares for community cats in Robinsons Magnolia. They mostly shelter strays found near the vicinity of Robinsons malls around Metro Manila. Under HPC’s The Gift of Furever campaign, strays receive provisions such as food and shelter, as well as vaccinations, medical tests, and neutering. Robinsons Malls funds these essentials to nurture the cats while Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) trains staff to care for the cats.

The Gift of Furever campaign aims to nurse these strays back to health and hygiene. Once the stray cats receive the care, attention, and nourishment they need, they are ready for adoption by future owners. The program successfully raised adoption rates in 2022, and they look forward to the same results in 2023.

HPC also has programs, such as free neutering and free veterinarian checkups, to keep cats healthy and strong. Cats can also enjoy lounging around any of HPC’s pet parks found in Robinsons Malls.
