This Pinoy Made a DIY Shoe Rack Out of Milk Cartons

With more and more Filipinos trying their hand at redecorating their homes, do-it-yourself home furniture pieces are getting increasingly popular. As such, a Facebook post about a DIY shoe rack has been going viral for a while now.

Dili na nako sayangan ang carton sa gatas ni Ethan,” Christian Lee Etan Gatoc said in his Facebook post. [I’m no longer wasting Ethan’s milk cartons.] 

Father to a growing baby boy, Christian has collected enough milk cartons to create a shoe rack with multiple layers. In his post, he shows the step-by-step process of his project.

A DIY shoe rack out of milk cartons

First, Christian gathered his milk carton collection. Then, he stacked and fastened the boxes together. Finally, Christian covered the boxes with wood-designed wallpaper to dress them up.

With his resourcefulness, Christian has surely inspired a lot of netizens to find budget-friendly alternatives to upgrade their homes. As of writing, his Facebook post has garnered over 3,000 likes and almost 20,000 shares!
