Mixing coffee and liquor isn’t exactly a novel idea. Most alcohol aficionados would know that the two actually go great together. So, is Emperador Coffee Brandy all that special?
It seems like the new flavour pays homage to the iconic Filipino cocktail, kagatan. Traditionally, this is made with coffee, rum, and condensed milk. But with Emperador Coffee Brandy, we can finally forego the hassles of blending ingredients.
On 3 Sep 2021, Alliance Global’s CEO Kevin Tan posted on Facebook, “A first in the Philippines, the Emperador Coffee Brandy is inspired by friendships made and strengthened over these two social drinks, as Emperador has always stood for celebrating success and igniting genuine connection.”

Where to buy Emperador Coffee Brandy
As of September 2021, the coffee brandy is available in limited quantities online. Both Shopee and Lazada carry the official flagship stores of Emperador Brandy. On either platform, you can buy a 750ml bottle for ₱149.
On the other hand, you can also purchase the coffee brandy from Boozy.ph. The leading liquor e-commerce platform in the country offers a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, too.
