1. Bretman Rock (bretmanrock)

@bretmanrock♬ original sound – bretmanrock

Those who know Bretman can attest to his unfailing all-out humour, no matter what social media platform he’s — and now, this includes TikTok as well. His motto? Anything goes. A couple of his successful TikTok posts shows the Internet icon doing his version of the viral Renegade dance and decorating a pair of false lashes. The latter alone has garnered over 12 million views as of writing!

2. Yanyan De Jesus (yanyandejesus1)

@yanyandejesus1Tala 💫🇵🇭 ##talachallenge♬ original sound – Yanyan De Jesus

A GForce member, Yanyan makes use of his background to come up with TikTok videos that flaunt his flawless dancing skills. And like a true pro, he proves that you don’t need a stage to perform well; he dances everywhere from his bedroom to the top of a hill, in the middle of a mall, and on the beach. Watch his impressive cover of Sarah Geronimo’s Tala above!

3. Chantal Tolosa (siyantalmay)

@siyantalmayShOokT silang dalawa 😂 ##fyp ##foryoupage ##laughingjackz ##xycba♬ dont start a relationship – m a j a

Don’t let the Pinay Barbie look fool you — Chantal is as fun, creative, and talented as the next person on the app. Filipino TikTok users can learn a thing or two about how to do group dance covers by watching her videos, which she mostly co-stars in with her colleagues.

4. Heart Evangalista (lme85)

@lme85Napressure na ako sa sarili Kong tiktok. Mamba mentality ! Let’s go!♬ ME! (feat. Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco) – Taylor Swift

If you love Heart on Instagram, you’ll love her even more on Tiktok! Just like her fashion, Heart’s videos are always on point and a testament of her rather comedic side. We especially enjoy seeing the multiple (luxurious) outfit changes she manages to include in a single post, her random kulitan moments with husband and current Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero, and the fun videos she takes with her entire entourage.

5. Limer Veloso (limerveloso)

@limervelosoYou do note!!! ##youdonote♬ original sound – Emil Migz Ros👑

You might remember seeing Limer in a touching Bench commercial back in 2018 and in the film Ulan in 2019. Beyond his roles in both projects, this actor and model has also gained quite a following on TikTok because of his carefree and wacky personality, apparent in his videos reciting pickup lines and trending online clips.

6. RR Marabong (rr_marabong)

@rr_marabongLet’s welcome back the FACE ZOOM 🤣 #C#razytivityfam #f#yp #n#explay♬ 7 Rings?! – hansilot_moto

When it comes to dubbing, not many compare to the works of RR. Each of her videos has pure natural talent written all over it, and you can tell that it involves hours and hours of practise. Watch how flawlessly she matches her lip-synching to pulling off realistic facial expressions in the video above. Genius!

7. MLion Cross (mlion_cross)

@mlion_cross##asian ##whoa! ##malaysia ##indonesia ##thailand ##singapore ##philippines! ##tiktokallstar ##bestvibes ##fyp ##lifestyleallstar ##love ##memeph♬ WOAH – Krypto9095

Having over 300 TikTok videos to your name doesn’t necessarily make one a TikTok star. But in the case of MLion, it definitely helped; a huge chunk of his videos have already gone viral! From dubbing and acting to grooving to dance hits, he never fails to make his followers swoon, sigh, and smile with his uninhibited charm and playfulness.

8. Vishnu Isles (vishnu27)

@vishnu27meow meow 🐱 🤗♬ nhạc nền – quỳnh mai

Need a dose of cuteness? Head over to Vishnu’s TikTok feed, which overflows with just that. When not lip-synching to or acting out international music videos, he’s probably goofing around with fellow Filipino TikTok users in what is known as a TikTok “duet”. It’s when one user of the app reacts to another by placing two videos side by side. Fun fact: Before other Filipino celebrities came into the picture, Vishnu dominated TikTok with non-stop viral-worthy videos.

9. Mayann Bacongan (mayannbacongan)

@mayannbaconganpangpagoodvibes ng umaga nyo😂😂😂##resulta sa walang kain😂😂😂😂##subcribe nyo po ako sa Youtube ko♬ original sound – mychaelade

Unlike more prominent personalities, Mayann videos don’t get millions of video views on TikTok… for now. However, this Dumaguete native has consistently shown that pure quirkiness (with little to no vanity factor involved) can go a long way. Usually, you’ll see her performing dance and musical hits (get this, she can actually sing!) in unexpected places, like a thrift store or on a motorbike!

10. Kim Chiu (kimberlysuechui)

@kimberlysuechiuSana mas naintindihan niya ako!! Sinama ko na si buddha para legit! ##yokona ##day13quarantine♬ original sound – KimChiu

With her natural jest and charm, Kim is one of those people who was born to be on TikTok. Having just joined the app in February 2020, she hasn’t disappointed in terms of uploading viral-worthy content. Among her most notable ones are videos of her ranting (quite adorably) about COVID-19, which are in both Bisaya and Chinese!

11. Benedict Cua (benedict_cua)

@benedict_cua🤪♬ original sound – jonathantilkin

If you spend a lot of your time on social media even before the COVID-19 pandemic, then this next person requires no introduction. What you might now know is that Benedict is also a long-time Filipino TikTok user and a master dubber. With his perfectly synchronised materials, he might as well be the next Filipino Trey Parker, one of the highest-paid voice actors today!

12. Jodi Sta. Maria (jodi_stamaria)

@jodi_stamaria♬ NO WORK NO PAY – ZENDEE

One of the original TikTok users, Jodi’s feed is filled with hundreds of viral posts with millions of views stamped on them. Many of these are dubbed videos of local movies and trending online videos which she does oh so effortlessly. What do you expect? She’s been an actress for years, after all!

13. Mimiyuuuh (mimiyuuuh)

@mimiyuuuhLANDIIN NIYO NA NGA PO KASI OPO!!! 🚨 NEW VLOG PO 🚨NAGMUKBANG NG TUBIG + Q&A!!♬ Wala ba talagang gustong lumandi sakin? – mimiyuuuh

Fan or not, it’s hard to deny that Mimi’s (whose real name is Jeremy Sancebuche) videos have made you laugh out loud at least once. While relatively new to the TikTok scene, Mimi has managed to bring in thousands to millions of views to his videos. There, you’ll see her do what she does best — being herself. That said, we have no doubts she’ll turn out to be one of the best Filipino TikTok users around!

14. Vladimir Grand (callmegrand)

@callmegrandNowadays you don’t need much to be happy😅@andrebro ##funny ##comedy ##fyp♬ You Know I’ll Go Get – Noeme Bagundol

He may not be Filipino by blood (he’s from Ukraine), but Vladimir’s TikTok videos are often filled with the kind of childlike wit we Filipinos know so well and appreciate. He dances, dubs in Tagalog, acts, cross dresses, and does all kinds of craziness in the most random places in Metro Manila. Often, he’s also joined by his friend and former PBB housemate, Andrei Brioulette!

15. Agassi Ching (agassiching)

@agassichingFli Fla Flo. Tama ba? @Jai Asuncion♬ original sound – Agassi Ching

Former “boyfriend for rent” and Mr. Chinatown Philippines contender Agassi is one of TikTok’s resident chinitos. In between solo dance covers, he uploads short kilig-worthy clips of himself and his partner Jai — another must-follow Filipino TikTok user herself — where you’ll see them acting out tatak Filipino pick-up lines.

Bonus: Department of Health (dohgovph)

@dohgovphVibe checkWash wash wash! 🙏🧼#Tao#ngBahayChallenge #Bah#ayMunaBuhayMuna #Bea#tCOVID19♬ original sound – Department of Health

That’s right, the Department of Health is now a proud member of the TikTok community, too! Its first-ever video is not just any dance or musical cover, though; it shows us how to prevent getting infected by COVID-19 through improvised choreography. If you think that’s creative, watch the video it just posted about how to properly wash your hands amid this pandemic!
