Hirono Brings an Abandoned Chinese Village Back to Life in POP MART’s Fantasy World

So why was this village abandoned? Hou Tou Wan used to be full of life. In the 70s and 80s, families lived along narrow stone streets, fishermen worked hard, and the village had lively festivals. Most residents moved to the mainland, leaving the village empty. Nature slowly took over, turning it into a quiet, eerie place.
