Fearing Vaccination? Maybe These COVID-19 Food Promos Can Help

Soon after COVID-19 vaccines started arriving in the Philippines, a local crowd of anti-vaxxers or those against vaccination emerged. No thanks to absurd myths people spread about these cures, the Philippine public is fearing more vaccine wastage, which is never good.

Nonetheless, we found something that may help encourage more people to get vaccinated. And it’s something Filipinos often find irresistible no matter the situation — food promos. Specifically, food promos that fully or partially vaccinated individuals can avail as a reward for choosing to protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID-19.

Businesses offering food promos to vaccinated people

Believe me when I say food promos in “exchange for” inoculation are a lot, and it’s all because of something called Ingat Angat. It’s a private sector-led campaign dedicated to helping revive the Philippine economy by promoting vigilance among Filipinos.

On their website, they list down more than 150 local businesses offering freebies and other deals, which are provided by those in the food and beverage sector. Here are some that might be of interest. When redeeming, remember to bring your vaccination card and a valid ID.
