To claim this offer, travellers must book their international flight with JAL and include a domestic flight in the same reservation. Separate domestic bookings won't qualify for the promotion. Additionally, a stopover fee of ₱5,574 applies to travellers from the US, Canada, Mexico, and China if they stay at their initial destination for more than 24 hours. Fortunately, no extra charges will be applied for passengers from other eligible countries, such as Singapore, Australia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and more.
The free domestic flight offer is already available in select countries and will be expanded to other eligible destinations throughout September. While travellers from countries like the UK are not yet included in the deal, Japan Airlines has plans to extend the offer to more regions in the near future.
Japan Airlines has introduced this initiative to provide a seamless and convenient travel experience, encouraging tourists to explore the country’s less-travelled areas. For instance, passengers flying into Tokyo can take advantage of the offer and hop on a free domestic flight to Sapporo in Hokkaido, known for its stunning national parks and popular ski resorts. Other recommended destinations include Wakayama, located in Japan's Kansai region, where visitors can experience the serene temple enclave of Koyasan and marvel at Nachi Falls, the tallest waterfall in Japan.
This offer is a fantastic way for international travellers to see more of Japan’s diverse landscape, from snowy mountains to peaceful temples, without the added cost of domestic travel. With the holiday season approaching, this deal could be the perfect opportunity to explore multiple regions within Japan and create unforgettable memories.
