The promise of new flavours beckons from Banawe.

Filipinos worldwide know Jollibee and all its savoury offerings like the back of their hand. Famous for its local-style fried chicken and spaghetti, the Filipino fast-food chain is now present in 13 countries where cities have a recognised community of overseas Filipinos. Among them is New York in the United States of America.
In a major development, the Big Apple has welcomed a new Jollibee store that caters to both its growing Filipino market and New Yorkers — right in the city’s entertainment centre of Times Square.

Jollibee Times Square has already officially opened. The flagship store debuted on August 18, 2022, at 1500 Broadway in the heart of Times Square, drawing thousands of customers who lined up for the opening celebration. The restaurant serves Jollibee classics like Chickenjoy, Chicken Sandwich, Peach Mango Pie, and other menu favourites to locals and tourists alike.
Before this flagship opened, Jollibee already operated in New York with a Queens store at 6229 Roosevelt Avenue and a Manhattan store at 609 Eighth Avenue. The Queens branch opened in 2009 as the chain’s first New York location, and the Manhattan branch followed in 2018, quickly becoming popular with diners.

The Times Square store not only represents Jollibee’s presence in one of the world’s busiest commercial and entertainment hubs but also underscores the brand’s ongoing expansion in North America.
“1500 Broadway’s Times Square location offers unmatched opportunities for exposure in one of the most recognisable retail corridors in the world,” said a representative from CBRE, the real estate firm that worked on the site deal, noting the location’s appeal for consumer spending and brand visibility.
