Strawberry taho. Tsokolate de batirol. Ube jam. Just some of the things we miss most about Baguio, along with its pine trees, buzzing markets, and sweater weather all year round. Even now in 2026, there are moments when going back to the country’s Summer Capital still feels like something you need to plan around schedules, budgets, and timing.
But what if we told you that you could travel to Baguio without actually having to travel to Baguio? We’d leap at the chance, if you asked us; and fortunately, it is indeed possible.
Old Baguio Cafe, whose original branch is based in Baguio City, offers Metro Manila residents a piece of Baguio right within Quezon City. The cafe, located in Kalayaan Centrepointe Building in V. Luna, opened in July 2020 and has since become a familiar stop for those craving Baguio flavours without the long drive

From the moment you step inside Old Baguio Cafe, Baguio regulars will instantly feel a sense of home and comfort. The folks at the cafe have truly worked to provide its diners with a piece of Baguio in the metro — both through their cosy interiors and wide array of products.
It is with pride that the cafe, OBC for short, offers “everything you crave from the City of Pines,” from Baguio’s iconic flavours to local crafts that hail from the Cordillera region. Whether it’s fresh strawberries and ube jam or bamboo plates and mugs, OBC has got you covered.

Their lineup even boasts some of the city’s most sought-after products: Good Shepherd ube jam, angel cookies, and snowballs; Vizco’s strawberry shortcake, mango cake, and ube cake; Baguio Country Club banana bread and raisin bread; and Victoria’s Bakery cream puffs. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

For those who wish to dine in (and yes — they offer al fresco dining!), OBC is happy to provide their customers with a taste of native Cordilleran dishes. Their pinikpikan and sauteed kinuday are among their must-try menu items. As for dessert, you won’t want to miss out on their strawberry taho or strawberry champorado.

To add to all this, OBC also serves tsokolate de batirol, iced batirol, and syphon coffee made with premium Arabica beans from Atok, Benguet. As a bonus to coffee lovers, they sell their beans in 250g, 500g, and 1kg bags, too!
