Sometimes we need a little TLC.
Are you in dire need of de-stressing? If you would regularly pamper yourself with a trip to the spa or a home service massage during the pre-pandemic era, then we can imagine that a quality treatment is long overdue. With so many health-related concerns to consider during these times, looking for alternative ways to relax has been the easier choice to make. But now that more of us are getting vaccinated and safety protocols are constantly being fine-tuned, it’s now possible to enjoy a relaxing and worry-free home service massage in Manila.

When it comes to home service massages in the new normal, there are many health and safety-related concerns to consider. One of the country’s most trusted home service providers, Massage MNL, has put together strict protocols to ensure both their clients’ and therapists’ safety.
For starters, Massage MNL takes pride in safeguarding their massage therapists’ health. For each of their service areas around the metro, their designated therapists stay in a regularly sanitised staffhouse. The massage therapists are all fully vaccinated and get swab tested once a week. On top of all that, they also make sure to take health and temperature checks before and after every appointment booking; should they show signs of COVID-19 symptoms, they are subject to quarantine for two weeks.
Here’s what to expect once you’ve booked an appointment with Massage MNL:
1. The massage therapist will arrive in full PPE with a medical certificate showing a negative COVID-19 test result.
2. You will be asked to fill out a health declaration form.
3. The therapist will disinfect and change into clean clothes before beginning your massage session.
4. You must provide your therapist with clean towels and linens for the session. Only you and your masseuse may be in the room for the massage.
5. The therapist will wear a mask and face shield during the entire session.
6. You will not be required to wear a mask during the back massage portion of your session. When facing the massage therapist, you will have to wear a mask.

Massage MNL boasts a generous lineup of services, which start as low as just ₱300 for a 60-minute Swedish massage. Their premium massages include treatments such as combination, deep tissue, and hot stone massages; while their specialised offerings include pre- and post-natal massages, myofascial release, and their signature massage.
Additionally, Massage MNL also launched their Massage Bar service so clients can enjoy the full spa experience at home. The Massage Bar comes complete with an Instagram-worthy setup; your choice of massage, facial, foot, and hand spa treatments; manicures and pedicures, and even custom drinks. The service is open to those of all ages, making it the perfect choice for a pamper day at home with the family. It’s also ideal for small, intimate celebrations — keeping in mind proper health and safety protocols.
