During a recent press conference, Hakan Bakar, Holiday Factory’s Business Development Director for International Markets, highlighted the rapid expansion of the middle-income segment in the Philippines. This demographic shows a keen interest in travel and a strong demand for affordable holiday packages.
Bakar explained that the booming tourism industry in the Philippines, combined with a significant portion of the population seeking cost-effective travel options, makes the country an ideal market for Holiday Factory’s expansion. “This segment is highly ‘undercatered’ and ‘undertoured’ in the Philippines due to the lack of operators. Therefore, we are delighted to present to you today and announce the Philippines’ first real package tour operator, Holiday Factory,” he said.
Holiday Factory offers a diverse array of travel packages that cater to various preferences and budgets. These packages include flights, accommodation, transfers, tour guides, and travel insurance. Filipino travellers can now enjoy popular local destinations like Boracay, Puerto Princesa, and Siargao, as well as international hotspots such as Bangkok, Hong Kong, the Maldives, and Dubai.
Prices for these packages are designed to be affordable, starting at just ₱3,499 for Boracay and ₱5,499 for Siargao. International packages begin at ₱11,899 for Bangkok and go up to ₱32,999 for the Maldives. “Who said holidays are expensive? We offer holiday packages for everyone,” Bakar stated, emphasising the company’s commitment to making travel accessible to all.
Holiday Factory has established a customer care centre in Cebu, which has been operational since 2018, initially serving its UAE clientele. This centre is staffed by a diverse team well-versed in the needs and expectations of Filipino travellers.
Sam Devela, Holiday Factory's Customer Care Director, assured that the company’s sales team provides personalised destination recommendations tailored to individual preferences. The service team is always available to assist customers before, during, and after their trips, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.
To celebrate its launch in the Philippines, Holiday Factory is hosting a Mega Giveaway, offering 100 holiday packages to 100 lucky Filipinos. “Everyone can participate for free by registering on the website,” announced Sandra Daemmrich, General Manager at Holiday Factory.
