Our favourite places to stay on this sleepy Cebu island.
Heads up, javaholics! If you ever find yourself wandering through Laguna, keep your eyes peeled for Muni Coffee PH, a cosy roadside café along National Highway that continues to charm both locals and passers-by.
Modernly quaint, this hole-in-the-wall coffee shop is recognisable by its Japanese-inspired minimalist exterior: raw and light colours, natural fixtures, and symmetrical elements. But beyond its simple looks, Muni Coffee offers an impressive menu — for both quality and price!

Their craft coffee — including V60 pour-over, kori-kohi, and flavoured iced coffee — costs as low as ₱45. Meanwhile, their espresso-based drinks are all just ₱75 and below. Of course, you can have snacks to go with your drink; you won’t have to break the bank for these, either! Their three-cheese and tuna melt sandwiches are priced at ₱60 only.
