A quiet Bataan beach turned into a crime scene after police seized 118 kilos of shabu worth ₱802M, abandoned near a lighthouse.

Looking back, the launch of motorbike sharing services a few years ago already thrilled many Filipinos in Metro Manila. Commuting without relying on jeepneys, buses, trains, or cars was a small taste of freedom. Fast forward to today, and Moovr PH has taken this idea further with the country’s first app-enabled bike and e-scooter sharing service, making it even easier to navigate busy areas like Bonifacio Global City (BGC). Powered by Keepr Storage PH, the service promises convenience, inclusivity, safety, and sustainability.
According to Moovr PH founder and general manager Anna Moncupa via ABS-CBN News, the app was designed to address mobility and space challenges in the city. “Our roads are getting more congested and travel takes longer, so we wanted to offer a safe and convenient way to move around,” she said.

Unlike traditional ride-sharing services in the Philippines, Moovr lets you operate the bikes or e-scooters on your own, similar to Taiwan’s YouBikes in cities like Taipei and Taichung.
To use Moovr PH, simply locate a Moovr hub in BGC, bring your personal safety gear, and pick up a bike or e-scooter using the QR code system. You can return it after use, with rentals valid up to 24 hours per booking. Rates start at ₱15 for bikes and ₱50 for e-scooters, payable via GCash, credit, or debit card through the Moovr app, available on iOS and Android.
Signing up with Moovr also includes insurance coverage. Users are expected to observe ride-sharing etiquette, which includes using the vehicles only within BGC and properly parking them in designated spaces.
Looking back in 2025, Moovr PH remains a practical and fun alternative for navigating BGC while reducing congestion, proving that sustainable mobility solutions can still be exciting, convenient, and accessible for everyone.
