Cheers to a whopping number of 20 holidays and 13 long weekends in the Philippines! Filipinos have all reasons to rejoice this 2015 as well! Feeling the vacation vibe? Plan your getaways now!

Planning a Vietnam trip later this year? Cebu Pacific is bringing back two direct Vietnam routes, giving Filipino travellers more options when flying from Clark and Cebu.
The airline will resume Clark to Hanoi flights in November 2026 and Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City flights in October 2026. Both routes will operate three times a week, making it easier for travellers outside Metro Manila to fly directly to Vietnam.

Cebu Pacific will resume its direct Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City flights on 26 October 2026.
The route will operate three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flights will connect Mactan Cebu International Airport with Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the main airport serving Ho Chi Minh City.
This gives travellers from Cebu and other parts of Central Visayas a more convenient way to visit Vietnam without first travelling to Manila for an international flight.
Ho Chi Minh City is a great starting point for a Vietnam trip, especially if you are into street food, cafés, history and city exploring. From here, travellers can also plan side trips to other destinations in southern Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific will resume its direct Clark to Hanoi flights on 20 November 2026.
The service will operate three times a week every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Cebu Pacific says it will remain the only airline offering direct flights between Clark and Vietnam.
The route is particularly useful for travellers from Central Luzon, who can head to Clark International Airport instead of travelling to Metro Manila for their Vietnam trip.
Cebu Pacific's Clark to Hanoi route was temporarily suspended as part of the airline's network adjustments. The service is set to return in November, giving travellers another direct option for reaching Vietnam's capital.
The return of these two routes gives Filipino travellers more direct options for visiting Vietnam from key airports outside Manila.
For travellers based in Central Visayas, the Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City route provides a direct connection to southern Vietnam. Meanwhile, those based in Central Luzon can use Clark to Hanoi for a direct flight to Vietnam's capital.
Cebu Pacific is also expanding its international network in the fourth quarter of 2026, with additional routes to destinations in China and Japan.

Here is a quick look at the two Vietnam routes returning later this year:
Route | Start date | Frequency | Flight days |
|---|---|---|---|
Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City | 26 October 2026 | 3x weekly | Monday, Wednesday, Friday |
Clark to Hanoi | 20 November 2026 | 3x weekly | Wednesday, Friday, Sunday |
Flight schedules may change, so travellers should check the latest schedule with Cebu Pacific before booking.
With direct flights returning from both Cebu and Clark, planning a Vietnam getaway could soon be much easier for Filipino travellers who live outside Metro Manila.
If Hanoi's historic streets and cafés or Ho Chi Minh City's food scene have been on your travel list, this could be a good time to start planning your next Vietnam trip.
