Planning to bring your car to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) the next time you fly out? Here is some good news. NAIA is now offering cheaper overnight parking if you are a verified traveller.
With their upgraded parking system in place, verified passengers can now enjoy a 50 percent discount on overnight parking fees. It is part of an effort to make airport parking more efficient while giving actual passengers a more convenient and budget-friendly option.

The discount is not automatic. You will need to show proof that you actually flew out of NAIA. This way, the airport can prioritise space for travellers and avoid the problem of cars being left for long periods by non-passengers.
Here is how to get the discounted rate:
When you park at NAIA, take your parking ticket and keep it with you.
Make sure to keep your boarding pass from your flight.
When you return, head to the validation counter and present both documents.
Once your flight is confirmed, your overnight parking fee will be reduced by half.
The process is simple. You do not need to register online or download an app. Just keep your documents safe.
The overnight parking fee was increased in October 2024, from ₱300 to ₱1,200 per 24 hours for cars. The change surprised a lot of people, especially those used to leaving their vehicles at the airport during longer trips.
Now, with the new 50 percent discount, the updated rates for verified passengers are:
₱600 per 24 hours for cars
₱1,200 per 24 hours for buses
₱240 per 24 hours for motorcycles
It is a more reasonable option if you are travelling for several days. You will no longer have to worry about the hassle of arranging pick-ups or drop-offs, especially if your flight is early in the morning or late at night.
The new system was introduced by New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation, which operates the airport. Their goal is to solve long-standing parking issues and improve the overall experience for travellers.
Some people had been using the parking areas as a long-term storage space for their cars, even if they were not catching a flight. That made it harder for actual passengers to find parking. With this new rule, only verified travellers can get the discount. This helps free up space and makes sure that parking is used for its intended purpose.

Definitely. If you are heading out of town and planning to leave your car at the airport, this discount can make a big difference. It is a more affordable option compared to full rates, especially if you are away for a few days.
Just do not forget your parking ticket and boarding pass. Without them, you will have to pay the full price.
Flying soon? If you are travelling from NAIA any time soon, this is something worth considering. Parking your car at the airport is now easier on the wallet, as long as you follow the steps to get verified.
Would this make you more likely to drive to the airport instead of booking a ride? Let us know your thoughts.
