Even for non-Korean drama fans, it’s hard not to know who Park Seo-joon is. Aside from his hit shows, the sought-after Korean actor has fronted several big endorsements in both Korea and the Philippines, where he continues to grow an impressive fanbase!

Back in September 2019, Park Seo-joon already thrilled Filipino fans when he flew in for a Bench fan meet. Since then, many have been hoping for his return. When he later signed with Smart Communications, fans eagerly anticipated a possible gathering, though plans were eventually put on hold. Still, the support for him locally has only grown stronger.
After his Bench fan meet in 2019, Park Seo-joon also became part of Smart Communications’ roster of Korean endorsers, joining Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin. The collaboration highlighted just how popular Hallyu stars are in the Philippines and gave local fans even more reason to look forward to his future visits.
According to PLDT Chief Revenue Officer Alfredo S. Panlilio, Smart’s partnership with top Hallyu stars like Park Seo-joon, Hyun Bin, and Son Ye-jin was meant to strengthen the brand’s connection with Filipino K-drama fans.

Park Seo-joon has also joined the Smart Communications family as an official endorser of Smart GIGA K-Video, a collaboration between Smart and streaming service Viu. This prepaid data pack lets Filipinos enjoy a better streaming experience of their favourite Korean shows.
