If you're planning a new getaway in Southeast Asia, this might be your sign to visit Vietnam. Flying to Vietnam from the Philippines is now more convenient than ever. Flight PR 585 departs NAIA Terminal 1 in Manila at 11:10 AM, arriving in Da Nang at 12:45 PM. The return flight, PR 586, leaves Da Nang at 1:35 PM and lands back in Manila at 5:10 PM. That’s just enough time to settle in and start exploring the city.
PAL is utilising its Airbus A321 aircraft for the route, which has a seating capacity of 199 passengers across Business and Economy Class. Whether you're travelling solo, with friends, or on a family trip, you can expect a smooth and comfortable ride.

The launch of this route comes at a meaningful time. It coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Philippines–Vietnam Strategic Partnership in 2025 and leads into the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2026, which also aligns with the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairmanship. These milestones reflect a deepening connection between the two countries, not just diplomatically but through tourism and cultural exchange.
Vietnam is quickly becoming a favourite destination for Filipino tourists, and more Vietnamese are also discovering what the Philippines has to offer. This surge in travel demand is what PAL is addressing by expanding its operations. The airline now flies to three destinations in Vietnam: Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi, offering a total of 24 nonstop flights to Vietnam weekly, including a Cebu to Ho Chi Minh route.

Da Nang is more than a stopover. With its scenic coastline, laid-back charm, and nearby cultural sites like Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary, it offers a refreshing mix of beach, history, and local flavour. For Filipinos who’ve seen Bangkok or Bali, Da Nang is a fresh alternative. More than convenience, this new route opens the door to new adventures. PAL’s direct flights to Da Nang bring you closer to Vietnam’s vibrant central coast.
