On 5 Aug, 2025, 37-year-old Mark Anthony Adviento popped the big question to his girlfriend, 32-year-old Myra Donne Chua, during AirAsia Flight Z2 350 from Manila to Tagbilaran. The entire cabin burst into cheers as Myra said “YES!”. The romantic flight proposal instantly turned strangers into witnesses and crew into co-conspirators!

This wasn’t some last-minute idea. Mark had secretly contacted AirAsia weeks in advance to ask for help staging the moment. The airline said yes, too! Known for supporting purposeful journeys, AirAsia worked closely with its flight attendants to create the perfect moment in the sky.
