The fares shown above are only available for AirAsia BIG members. Fares for non-members are more expensive by at least ₱50 (it can go as high as ₱300 based on your chosen destination). A 7 kg baggage allowance, taxes and other fees — except for the processing fee which will be shown at the end of your booking — are already included. Tip: To avoid paying the processing fee, sign up for BigPay!

Is this a good deal?

I wouldn’t go right to saying this is the best seat sale we’ve seen so far this year, but it’s definitely still worth looking into, mostly because of one thing: The sale covers departures from four different Philippine airports! Especially worth noting is the base fare difference between flights from Clark and flights from Manila — a whopping ₱700!

Now, for the downer. The travel period is only until the end of September this year, which is about two months from now! So while you do have the option of leaving from several Philippine airports other than Ninoy Aquino International Airport, you only have the next few weeks to travel. It’s good perhaps if you’re flying domestic and you can still score weekend flights. Otherwise, you might as well use that extra cash to wait for upcoming seat sales with longer travel periods. Also, unless you’ve signed up with BigPay, you’re still required to pay the expensive AirAsia processing fee.
