The promise of new flavours beckons from Banawe.
If you can’t get enough of looking at scenic cafés, you’re not alone. Scouting out hole-in-the wall cafés and rooftop eateries is something that we love to do, on top of delivering you the latest news on travel. Here’s the newest hidden gem that we found: a Vietnamese-inspired café named Drip Kofi, tucked away inside the Beverly Hills Subdivision in Taytay, Rizal.
Drip Kofi is a minimalist coffee shop that specialises in bold and authentic coffee sourced from Vietnam. As the name of the shop suggests, their coffee is made by letting boiling water drip slowly through finely ground coffee.

Inside Drip Kofi, it’s difficult not to be drawn to the aesthetically pleasing corners — like the white walls and bright lighting that create a cosy ambience for chilling with a cup of iced coffee. Meanwhile, the indoor plants bring a refreshing touch to the surroundings, making it a vibrant café that plant parents will love.

They also serve dishes such as Vietnamese spring rolls, banh mi, pizza, and pasta. For dessert, you can indulge in cheesecake that comes in blueberry, strawberry, oreo, salted caramel, and classic New York-style flavours.
How does hitting two cuisines in one trip sound? In addition to a coffee shop, there’s also a Korean grocery store right next door from Drip Kofi, just in case you want to satisfy your Korean food cravings or bring snacks for your K-drama binge-watching sessions at home.
Delicious Vietnamese coffee and Korean food. That’s a trip outside the city well spent, don’t you think? Between the refreshing drinks and the cool breeze in Taytay, Drip Kofi makes for a pleasant and laid-back getaway from busy city life in Metro Manila.
