The only plastic we need for travel.
Hey, Filipino travelholics! The moment you’ve all been waiting for is finally here — The 2017 holidays have just been declared by Malacañang Palace (i.e., the Office of the President)!
And get this… I’ve counted a total of.. 10 regular holidays, 9 special (non-working) days, 11 long weekends and only 3 days vacation leave for next year!
Awesome, huh?!
I know what you’re thinking but nope, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. These figures are real! And they totally crushed 2016’s total of 9 long weekends with 4 days vacation leave.
If you still don’t believe me and need a little help visualising this rare instance, then check out the calendar that we at TripZilla have made just for you. All the dates have been painstakingly plotted and marked for your viewing pleasure!
Please note that the dates for Eid’l Fitr and Eidul Adha are just estimates. Unfortunately, as they are based on the Islamic or lunar calendar, they can’t be confirmed this early. It would be best to wait for official announcements from the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) for these national holidays. But aside from these two, you’re good to go!
So what are you waiting for? Save and share TripZilla’s 2017 long weekend calendar for the Philippines! You’ve got our full permission to use this as your guide for planning and booking next year’s epic adventures!
