Heartwarming Photos of Delivery Riders Helping One Another Go Viral

It’s times like these that Filipinos, like many others around the globe, all need a breath of positivity as we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic. We love remembering these heartwarming photos of Metro Manila delivery riders offering a hand to a struggling fellow motorist, as captured by Facebook user Fae Vega.

In the photos, a Foodpanda rider appears to be having trouble carrying his delivery bag while plying a road in Muntinlupa City. Because of this, Grab, McDonald’s, and Angkas riders, who were in the same area, are seen assisting the former safely do his delivery.

“I’m not sure what exactly happened here but it looks like Kuya Food Panda needed help and Kuya Grab, Kuya Angkas and Kuya McDo was there to help,” Vega said. “This reminded me that you really don’t need a reason to help others. So happy to have witnessed such a beautiful act. God bless you hardworking people!”

Unsurprisingly, fellow Filipinos took to the comments section to express their admiration for the Metro Manila delivery riders. A user by the name of Elwin John Salvador even shared such acts are normal among the Filipino rider and delivery communities. “Karamihan ng mga rider magakkapatid ang turing. Walang mababa walang mataas. Walang kumpetensya,” he said.
