From 6–8 Sep 2024, the Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) will bring together over 300 tour operators, tourism offices, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and resorts, all ready to help you plan the vacation of your dreams without breaking the bank. The fair will feature bang-for-your-buck tour packages and all-inclusive deals for hotels and resorts. The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) — the organisers behind PTM — have collaborated with key players in the Philippine travel and hospitality industry, including Philippine Airlines, Megaworld Hotels, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, Ayala Land, and Marriott.
If you’ve got your heart set on exploring faraway lands, the PTM also features exhibitors offering discounted tour packages to popular destinations in Asia, the US, Europe, and Australia. "The 2024 Philippine Travel Mart offers a one-stop-shop for travel enthusiasts to explore new destinations, plan their trips, and avail of exclusive discounts," says Maria Lourdes Japson, PHILTOA's 1st Vice-President.
The PTM is not just about discounts and sales; it also aims to raise awareness of popular and emerging destinations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. "For three days, SMX will be the venue for all exhibitors to showcase the best of what the Philippines can offer any traveller," says PHILTOA's Treasurer, Dina May Flores.
Expect regional displays, performances, and grand pavilions that put the different regions of the Philippines in the spotlight. The PTM has partnered with regional Department of Tourism offices to help travellers discover new corners of the country. If you’re dropping by the PTM, be sure to visit the various regional booths for a mini-tour of the Philippines, featuring food tastings and cultural performances. Who knows, you might end up with a whole new travel list.
Register on the Philippine Travel Mart website to secure your slots. Tickets will be available for pre selling starting next week.
