Vietnam’s Phú Quốc topped the overall list with 95.51 points. Other top Asian islands include Langkawi, Koh Samui, Bali, Andaman Islands, Phuket, and Phi Phi Islands.

Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco said the awards “belong to our people, their craft, and the spirit of ‘Love the Philippines.’” She highlighted that local communities are the real heroes behind these islands’ magic and stressed the importance of sustainable tourism to keep them vibrant for generations.

These awards prove that the Philippines is a rich country but notoriously plundered. We are full of stunning, world-class islands and natural treasures that keep the world coming back.
