Filipinos Granted Visa-Free Entry to Taiwan Until July 2022

If the COVID-19 pandemic got in the way of your plans to visit Taiwan, then we’ve got good news for you: Philippine passport holders can still enjoy visa-free entry until 31 Jul 2022. According to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) announced the one-year extension on 20 Jul 2021.

Among those included in the one-year extension of trial visa-free entry to Taiwan are nationals from the Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, and Russia. Along with this, Taiwan will also continue their Project for Simplifying Visa Regulations for High-end Group Tourists from Southeast Asian countries until 31 Dec 2022.
