These Coworking Spaces Let You Set up Your Office by the Beach

After months of being cooped at home, most of us are itching for a change of scenery. Let’s be real — we’re all tired of having the same boring view every day while working from home. Though, if there’s anything that this ‘new normal’ has proven, it’s that many office tasks really can be accomplished from anywhere! (As long as you have a functional laptop and decent internet connection, that is.)

Where can you find these digital nomad hubs?

Baybayin Hub has a growing number of locations and will eventually expand all around the archipelago. But for now, you can find them in the following: Bolinao, Pangasinan; Liw-Liwa Beach in San Felipe, Zambales; Pasay City; and Siquijor. They‘re also set to open more hubs in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte (slated in December 2020), as well as in Cebu, Bohol, and Dumaguete.

What about COVID-19 restrictions and protocols for domestic travel, you ask? Well, fortunately, Baybayin Hub assures its guests that they’re complying with all guidelines and safety measures from the Department of Health.

As they said on a Facebook post, “[We] created a safe space for digital nomads that can still be productive with their jobs, while enjoying the ambience.”

What else can you do while in Baybayin Hub?

They weren’t kidding when they said that you’re in for a workation. And by that, we mean total work-life balance! Their Wi-Fi reaches all the way outdoors, where they have an extended seating area, so you can definitely keep on working in whatever spot you prefer. Yup, say goodbye to productivity lags!

Apart from digital nomad-friendly facilities, most Baybayin Hub locations also have fitness classes, live music shows, fishing trips, and group tours around nearby attractions! So, why not make the most out of your stay and meet new people along the way?

“From work-from-home setup to work by the beach, an upgrade should not be expensive,” Baybayin Hub stated. “For now, [our coworking spaces] are exclusive for members only. Due to the pandemic, we want to screen all guests who are planning to work and live in the resort.” 

Their rates start between ₱13,000 and ₱25,000 per month, depending on your chosen location. Baybayin Hub only discloses their exact locations to members due to health and safety reasons amidst the pandemic.
