Cebu Pacific Flight Cancellations 2026: List of Suspended International Routes and Refund Guide

You likely secured your tickets during the last seat sale, counting down the days until your holiday while sitting at your desk or scrolling through your phone. Many travellers who planned their 2026 trips during those promo days now face a major disappointment as travel increasingly feels like a luxury again. Before you finalize your itinerary, check your email for a flight alert.

Cebu Pacific overhauls its flight schedules in response to a massive surge in global fuel costs. The airline suspends several international routes and reduces the frequency of others starting this April. These changes follow a spike in aviation fuel prices, which now sit at $175 per barrel due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.

If you plan to fly from regional hubs like Davao, Iloilo, or Clark, you must check these specific dates. The airline stops several services entirely between April and October 2026 to manage rising operational expenses.

  • Davao to Bangkok (Don Mueang). Operations stop from 13 April to 23 October.

  • Iloilo to Bangkok (Don Mueang). Operations stop from 17 April to 24 October.

  • Iloilo to Singapore. Operations stop from 15 June to 23 October.

  • Clark to Hanoi. Operations stop from 2 May to 25 October.

Reduced flight frequencies for Manila and Cebu hubs

Even if the airline does not cancel your route entirely, you now find fewer options on the booking page. Major hubs in Manila and Cebu see a reduction in weekly flights as the carrier cuts back on fuel-heavy regional trips.

  • Cebu to Singapore. Flights drop from daily to five times a week starting 16 April.

  • Manila to Jakarta. Flights drop from daily to four times a week starting 14 April.

  • Manila to Kuala Lumpur. Flights move from daily to five times a week starting 15 April.

  • Manila to Sydney and Melbourne. Fewer flights exist on specific dates throughout May and June.

The airline sends alerts to passengers who face these schedule shifts. If the airline moves or cancels your booking, you handle the change through three main options in the "Manage Booking" portal on the Cebu Pacific website.

You rebook your flight for free, provided the new date falls within 30 days of your original departure. If you feel unsure of your next trip, you move the full amount into a Travel Fund. This fund has no expiration date, which makes it a safe bet for future travel. Finally, you request a full refund, though the processing time depends on your bank or original payment method.

Rising fuel surcharges and the impact on ticket prices

The reality of travel right now ties directly to the price of oil. Cebu Pacific trims its schedule to keep the business stable as fuel costs more than double compared to last year. On top of these cancellations, the Civil Aeronautics Board increases the fuel surcharge for April. This means any new tickets you buy in the coming weeks cost more than they did last month.

The best move you make right now involves logging into your account to verify your contact details. Ensure your mobile number and email remain correct so you do not miss an urgent update while you commute or work. For those who still plan to book international travel for the second half of 2026, look into flexible fare options to protect yourself against further schedule changes.
