China’s Hainan Province Now Visa-Free to Filipinos

Another great news to all Philippine passport holders!

According to Xinhua News Agency, starting 1 May 2018, the Hainan Province of China will give a 30-day visa-free access to citizens of 59 countries, including the Philippines.

This is an exciting progress from the original condition of 15-day visa-free entry to Filipinos who join group tours organised by accredited travel agencies in China.

This relaxed Hainan visa free policy is part of China’s move to develop the province into “a free trade port with Chinese characteristics”.
