GetGo Offers Flights From 400 Points for July and Beyond

The GetGo Freedom Fest is here, and it lets you fly to select Cebu Pacific destinations from as low as 400 GetGo points. No promo code needed!

In GetGo’s Independence Day seat sale, the spotlight will be on domestic travel in an effort to help recover the Philippines’ tourism industry. A few international flights are also on sale. As of writing, flights for as low as 400 GetGo points are available for Cebu, Clark, Iloilo, and Puerto Princesa departures. For Manila, the flights are being sold for as low as 900 GetGo points.

Take note that the published points will only cover the base fare. Add-ons, taxes, and other fees will still have to be paid for. For this, you can top-up with your CEB GetGo Visa card. Doing so entitles you to an extra 15% off and additional GetGo points for your next booking. The promo seats apply to one-way (useful for essential travel) and round-trip tickets.

Is this a good deal?

The top-up amounts payable for either flight are ₱943.52 and ₱1,143.52, respectively, which aren’t bad even for a low-cost carrier like Cebu Pacific. The travel period for domestic flights starts in July 2020 and ends in January 2021, giving travellers ample time to prepare and modify their flights should the current health crisis require it. But like everything else in this pandemic, book at your own risk — even when flying for non-essential travel.
