Travelling this holiday season? Grab Philippines will provide free shuttle rides from NAIA Terminal 3 to One Ayala in Makati on certain weekends in December. The service is designed to help passengers navigate the busy holiday period when rides are often limited and traffic is heavier than usual.
The shuttle operates from 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on three weekends in December. The service will be available on December 5 to 8, December 12 to 16, and December 19 to 22, 2025. Passengers can take the shuttle from NAIA Terminal 3 to One Ayala in Makati. From One Ayala, travellers can continue to their final destination by MRT, bus, or another ride-share service.

During the holiday season, traffic and ride demand increase significantly. Grab reports that trip completion times can be 20 to 25 percent longer during peak hours. They also expect ride-hailing demand to increase by up to 36 percent this quarter. The free shuttle is meant to provide a reliable alternative for passengers, especially those arriving late or coming from provinces, when regular Grab rides may be difficult to book or more expensive.

Grab is also promoting other services to manage holiday demand. Their Group Rides option allows up to three passengers to share one booking. They also introduced Sabay Sakay, a carpool-style shuttle for busy routes like Pasig to Makati. These services aim to reduce congestion and provide affordable options for passengers travelling between major areas in Metro Manila.

Travellers should check if their arrival falls on the weekends the service is available. Arriving between 4:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. gives the best chance to catch the shuttle. Once at Terminal 3, passengers need to go to the designated shuttle pick-up area. After reaching One Ayala, passengers can continue their journey using public transport or another ride-share if their final destination is outside Makati.
