Call yourself a true blue Filipino traveller if you’ve completed this Philippine Bucket List.

If you are still rewatching Our Beloved Summer and crying over Choi Ung and Kook Yeon-su, you are definitely not alone. The absolute best part about this comfort K-drama is that the actual documentary from the show exists in real life. It runs for a little over half an hour and packs in everything from their chaotic high school days to their adult life. You even get a few special clips that never made it into the main series episodes.

You can stream the entire special broadcast for free online. The full video is available on the official SBS NOW Facebook and YouTube channels.
It feels just like a bonus episode and makes the characters feel so real. While most official uploads are raw broadcasts, you can easily find fan-subbed versions online if you need English translations. It is the ultimate watch for a cozy weekend in, especially if you are trying to pick up a few conversational Korean phrases.

With the way the documentary footage was put together, it feels almost like an entirely new episode — and the characters feel even more real. While it doesn’t include all the scenes that producer Kim Ji-ung and his team filmed in the series, the 35-minute video will definitely be more than enough to get fans smiling from ear to ear.
Do note, however, that there are no English subtitles for SBS’ video at the time of writing. Regardless, though, the documentary is totally fun (and absolutely kilig!) to watch. It’s a great way to practise your Korean skills too, if you’ve been studying.
SBS also released a special television edit titled Our Beloved Summer The Movie. This release serves as a curated wrap-up of the entire story arc along with exclusive commentary and behind-the-scenes interviews with Choi Woo-shik and Kim Da-mi. You can look up the interview cuts online to see the main leads talking about their favorite scenes.
As for what to expect, reports say that the special episode will include a summary of the series, plus interviews with the actors. We can hardly wait!
