Booking a cabin to beat cabin fever may sound like an incredibly dumb idea, but trust us, it works like magic — especially if you’re booking a cabin in the middle of nowhere.
With travel protocols being ever-changing, most of us would rather relax somewhere near enough with minimal requirements, but also far enough to enable us to believe that we’re on an actual vacation. So now, we’re eyeing The Mountain House, a breathtaking home rental in Antipolo, Rizal.

Tucked in the lush forests along the Sierra Madre, The Mountain House offers its guests a generous taste of nature. One of its most remarkable features is its outdoor kitchen — engulfed by trees and wood, furnished with a stove and a grilling station and tables and lounge chairs — where you can cook and dine all-you-can al fresco.

As for lodging, The Mountain House provides three options:
An exclusive stay at the main house (₱15,000/12 pax);
A standard room with comfortable furnishings (₱5,500/3 pax, with an additional ₱800 per head); and,
A fun-sized, A-type cabin for the glamping enthusiasts (₱4,000/3 pax).
Regardless of the accommodation you choose, you’ll have access to all the invigorating features of the area.

Other than the dense forest and nature trails, the rental also provides access to river and waterfall trekking, nature bathing, and swimming in both private and natural pools. You can even book an ATV tour if you’re in for a rough ride through the mountains!
