Two women break the Guinness World Record for circumnavigation by tandem bicycle

Cat, 54, took leave from her career as a lawyer; while Raz, 55, took a break from her job as MND Nurse Consultant. Their route took them across five continents and 25 countries — all in less than a year. “We have highlights from every country that we visited and would definitely return to see many — although maybe at a slower pace,” they said in an interview.

The last leg of their journey came with unexpected travel challenges, but the pair pushed through and made it back home safely to complete their record-breaking feat.

They made it back to the UK on 18 Mar 2020, completing their round-the-world ride in under nine months!
