Wanderers will be pleased to enter Bean Voyage, a travel-inspired coffee shop in Cagayan de Oro. Maps, signages, and travel photos adorn the area; its menu even looks like a passport! But while the café boasts of foreign elements aesthetically, it exclusively sources its Arabica beans from Bukidnon farmers in its mission to support local.
Other than its fun theme, Bean Voyage is also known to be the first café in Mindanao to offer “selfie coffee” — literally, coffee topped with an edible selfie! Say cheese!

Bowerbird Coffee draws its inspiration from Southeast Asian hole-in-the-wall coffee shops; this explains its eclectic yet cosy atmosphere. Making use of mostly thrifted items, this cafe oozes ingenuity. Most customers drop by Bowerbird Coffee for their dose of caffeine and creativity; others just like experiencing this oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city.

When you step inside Coffee Space, you might notice the many travel-inspired elements in the area. Notably, its aesthetic design can be attributed to one of its owners, Kim Navarro, who used to be a flight attendant. No wonder its original intention was to cater to digital nomads!

Interestingly, Coffee-Up opened right in the heat of the pandemic — March 2020. Fortunately, the café continues to thrive; it has been adhering to social distancing protocols while serving its signature dishes and beverages.
The alfresco spaces of Coffee-Up have definitely helped in attracting customers during the new normal; but more than that, its affordable and delicious dishes have surely made guests want to come back.

Even with all the hurdles, Modesto has gained quite a following for its breathtaking views that makes its dishes taste a lot more delectable! The coffee shop sits in the hills of Indahag and serves a variety of meals and beverages.

We’d like to think it owes its success hugely to its impressive menu: Milestone Coffee offers a lot of coffee options, including Horchata, Salted Caramel Cream Latte, Honeycomb Crum Latte, Viet Latte, and Spanish Latte.
Ensuring health protocols, Milestone Coffee has installed automatic thermal scanners and social distancing markings to aid its customers. More than these, the café also owns an abundance of natural air purifiers — plants upon plants!

The Bike Shop CDO is not like other coffee shops in Cagayan de Oro. Fusing new normal innovation and love for coffee, this café is actually a coffee shop on wheels! Its owner, Ruggierro Nicolae Rubio, started the café because he wanted to “do both of (his) passions and hobbies while making money.”
Ruggiero usually parks his bike at the Rotunda Circle. He serves super affordable local brews: Black tea for ₱20, pour over coffee for ₱35, French pressed coffee for ₱45, and 100% Arabica coffee for ₱50. He also serves cookies, puto seko, and sticky biko that pair perfectly with the coffee!
