If you’ve been following the hit K-drama Nevertheless from 2021, you’re probably curious about Lee Ho-jung, who played Yoon Sol. As someone who watched the series, I initially thought I held an unpopular opinion: that Yoon Sol was the only character I actually cared about. Turns out, Ho-jung’s character was a crowd favourite, and fans were especially invested in her love story with her BFF Seo Ji-wan. Team #SolJiwan all the way!

Besides being one of the series’ most loveable characters, Yoon Sol got lots of attention for her stylish outfits. From oversized statement tees and her trademark bandana to motorcycle jackets and wide-legged jeans, her style was effortlessly cool — and the internet loved it. After researching, we found more to know and love about Lee Ho-jung; she’s still one of the K-drama stars to watch.

Yoon Sol’s style actually came from Ho-jung herself. Several clothing items and accessories came from her personal wardrobe, including Sol’s trademark bandana and leather jacket.

Her birthday is 20 Jan 1997, making her 29 in 2026. She’s the same age bracket as stars like Cha Eun Woo, BTS’ Jungkook, and Blackpink’s Rosé and Lisa.

She debuted under YG K Plus in 2012, walked runways, appeared in Vogue Korea, Elle Korea, Harper’s Bazaar Korea, and graced the cover of L’Officiel Singapore. She also models for Chopard and designer label Jaybaek Couture.

A few years after debuting as a model, Lee Ho-jung played a role in her first drama, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, alongside IU. She also notably appeared in the 2017 film Midnight Runners, with Park Seo-joon. Apart from dramas and movies, the actress also appeared in a number of music videos — among them Big Bang’s Let’s Not Fall in Love and K.Will’s You Don’t Know Love.

We’re guessing it’s a mix of the first syllable of her first name, Ho-jung and her family name, Lee! Based on her social media handles and her old VLive vlogs titled “HollyMoly,” it seems like this is a nickname she truly identifies herself with.

If you just look through Ho-jung’s Instagram page, it’s not hard to see that she has an eye for photography. But did you know that she actually has a whole other account solely dedicated to her film shots? The Instagram account, called @hollys_film, dates back to December 2015.

A play on the word “holiday,” Hollyday is a treasure trove for fans interested in getting to know Lee Ho-jung better. Her YouTube channel is a mix of videos that detail her travels, daily life, fashion tips, and more; plus, majority of the content is shot by Ho-jung and her friends, so you’re sure to love how authentic it all is. What’s more, Pinoy fans will also be delighted to hear that she also has a vlog on a visit she made to Cebu back in 2019!

Like many of us, Ho-jung turned to TikTok while in quarantine. While she hasn’t posted too many videos, the ones on her profile are definitely fun to watch. Nevertheless fans are in for a treat, too — at the time of writing, her latest TikTok upload is a video she shot with her co-star Yang Hye-ji, who plays Bit-na!

The movie, whose English title is Hostage: Missing Celebrity, is set to premiere on 18 Aug 2021. Hwang Jung-min will play the action film’s lead role, while Ho-jung is listed to play Saet-byeol, one of the main character’s hostage-takers. You can check out the trailer here.
