Alona Beach

This shouldn’t be missed. Alona Beach is perfect for walking on the sand, grabbing a drink, and soaking up the sun. The beach is lively, with restaurants, bars, and water sports if you’re feeling active. Drinks and snacks are usually ₱100–₱250. Make sure to bring out your digicams and stroll at sunset as it’s GORGEOUS. Go get those SUNSET pics, baddies!
Balicasag Island

If you love snorkelling or diving, Balicasag Island is a must. Swim with colourful fish, turtles, and manta rays. Snorkel rentals cost around ₱150, while diving trips are ₱1,500–₱2,000 depending on the package. You should definitely bring a GoPro because the underwater views are INSANE.

Hinagdanan Cave

Hinagdanan Cave has a sparkly turquoise lagoon inside. Perfect for photos and a quick adventure. Entry is ₱50–₱100. Make sure to wear shoes that can get wet and bring your camera because the cave is surprisingly beautiful.
Molave Cliff Diving Resort

For adrenaline seekers, Molave Cliff Diving Resort lets you jump off a safe platform into crystal-clear water. Snorkelling around Molave Cove is also fun if you prefer a calmer adventure. Entry and rentals are ₱200–₱400. Honestly, even watching others jump is entertaining, so don’t skip it.
Dumaluan Beach & Doljo Beach

For quieter vibes, Dumaluan and Doljo Beaches are ideal. Swim, sunbathe, or rent a kayak. Visiting is free, rentals cost ₱100–₱300. Dumaluan is great if you want to escape the crowds and just chill.

Honestly, Panglao is surprisingly affordable. You can find hostels for around ₱360–₱1,200 per night, while mid-range Airbnbs or hotels usually cost ₱1,200–₱2,100 per night. Street food is insanely cheap and delicious, so don’t be afraid to snack your way through the island. Bring a reusable water bottle to save money and avoid buying overpriced plastic bottles. Getting around is super easy too—motorbikes, tricycles, and tuktuks are all cheap and convenient, making island hopping a breeze.
