With voter registration underway for the 2025 election, the Commission on Elections is once again expected to partner with some of the country’s biggest shopping malls to open satellite voter registration sites. This initiative aims to make voter registration more accessible, especially for those who may find it difficult to visit local COMELEC offices during regular working hours.
In previous election cycles, Robinsons Malls, Ayala Malls, and SM Supermalls hosted registration booths across the country. These mall based sites allowed voters to register, update their records, or reactivate their registration closer to where they live, work, or study. A similar setup is expected for the current voter registration period, subject to official COMELEC announcements.
Each mall is typically assigned to voters from a specific city or district and operates on a limited schedule, with only a certain number of registrants accepted per day. Satellite registration venues usually cater not just to new voter registration, but also transfer of registration, reactivation, and correction of entries. Interested applicants are advised to download and complete the required forms in advance from COMELEC’s official platforms.
Ayala Malls have previously served as satellite voter registration venues across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, helping decongest COMELEC offices while encouraging more people to register on time.
For the 2025 election, specific mall locations, schedules, and daily registration limits will be announced through official channels. Some venues may allow walk ins, while others may require online pre registration, depending on local guidelines.
Voters are encouraged to regularly check Ayala Malls’ official website and social media pages, as well as COMELEC advisories, for confirmed schedules and requirements.
SM Supermalls are also expected to host satellite voter registration sites nationwide, following similar arrangements used in previous elections. These sites are usually available in selected branches and operate on specific dates only.
As with Ayala Malls, final details for SM mall registration sites for the 2025 election will be released by COMELEC in coordination with local election offices. Registration availability, accepted services, and daily limits may vary per location.
For the most accurate and up to date information, voters should rely only on official announcements from COMELEC and SM Supermalls.

As satellite voter registration sites open in malls, this gives voters another chance to make sure they are eligible to vote in the 2025 election. Those who are unable to register at mall based venues may still visit their local COMELEC offices or authorised satellite registration centres.
To avoid missing important deadlines, voters are advised to follow COMELEC’s official Facebook page and website for real time updates.
