So, you're attending Sinulog but don't know where else to book because everything’s already fully booked? As of early January 2026, hotel occupancy in Cebu City has already hit 90 percent. Properties along the parade route and near the Business Park have been stopping online sales, leaving many latecomers worried they will have to sleep miles away from the party.
The big update for 2026 is that the Grand Parade has returned to the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC), also known as Abellana. This brings the "carousel route" back to the downtown streets. If you haven't secured a room yet, you need to look for specific "strategic pockets" that still have walking access before the city goes into a total traffic lockdown.

If your main goal is to see the dancing without commuting, you should stay near Fuente Osmeña or Downtown Cebu. This area is the center of the Grand Parade route on Osmeña Boulevard. Staying here means you can walk to the event stages and night parties.

You must be ready for certain realities during Sinulog week. Prices for rooms often double. Most hotels also require you to stay for a minimum of two or three nights.
Expect heavy noise and massive crowds, so bring earplugs if you stay downtown.
Be ready for road closures. You will likely have to walk, bike, or use hotel shuttles.
There is high security everywhere. Expect bag inspections and checkpoints at entry points.
Food lines are very long. It is smart to eat early or book your restaurant tables days ahead.
Many people attend the parade on Sunday and then head to Mactan Island for a break. Mactan is near the airport and offers a much more peaceful environment with beaches and resorts.

By securing your accommodation early and staying close to the CCSC "heartbeat," you can focus on the devotion and the music without worrying about how to get back to your bed. Plan ahead, stay safe, and Pit Señor!
